Fighthype.com is reporting that Shane Mosley and Miguel Cotto will meet up on November 10th at Madison Square Garden. If this is true, that is a fantastic welterweight matchup. What a fall season of fights we have lined up.
Fightnews.com is reporting that the contracts for the Samuel Peter – Oleg Maskaev heavyweight title fight have been signed. After much back and forth, and rumors that Maskaev wasn’t going to sign the contract, the fight is done and will take place on October 6, at Madison Square Garden in New York.
And finally, it appears that Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Zab Judah staged a rematch of last year’s fight this weekend at OPM in Las Vegas. Allegedly, Floyd was talking some smack and Zab didn’t take too kindly to it. Is anyone really surprised that Floyd Mayweather and Zab Judah got into a fight at a club? If you put them in a club together at any random time in any random city, I’d bet nine out of ten times it would result in a fight between the two.
