Arlen Specter’s personal witch hunt rolls on this week, as the senator accused the Pats of “stonewalling” his “investigation” into their video taping habits. Where is this investigation going? Specter is upset because as a fan he thinks the Patriots may have cheated, so as a senator he opens a Congressional investigation into the matter? What the hell is wrong with professional sports? This is just ridiculous. I think the Pats may have cheated, but I don’t think it’s a Congressional issue. Leave this up to the commish and we’ll complain about how he handled it in later years. Actual quote from Antonio Tarver,

“I’m getting too old to go 12 rounds. I can only go four. I’m not going to waste any time. I’m going to go in and take him out. I’m not at an age to be tussling for 12 rounds.”

This from the 39-year old fighter with a whopping 30 professional fights. Tarver is really securing his legacy as the most delusional fighter in professional boxing (that’s really saying something). The one-hit-wonder that is Tarver will take on Clinton Woods on April 12.
