2007 Horse of the Year Curlin made his 2008 debut Thursday night in a prep race for the Dubai World Cup. The $6 million Dubai World Cup next month will go a long way towards breaking Cigar’s career earnings mark. It’s great to see a champion horse continuing to run, rather than being sent off to stud.
The FBI opened a probe into Roger Clemens‘ testimony in front of Congress. This is good for no one.
The Clemens FBI probe could lead to complications with Clemens’ 10-year contract he signed to work with the Astros.
Ricky Hatton says that Junior Witter priced himself out of a possible matchup. Witter disagrees, saying he’d fight Hatton for peanuts.
