The Dallas Mavericks have barred bloggers from their locker rooms before and after games. Any chance this rule applies Mark Cuban? Being a former media type, I am all for keeping bloggers out of locker rooms, but once you allow them, you can’t just change your mind like this. If you’re all about embracing the Internet and new media, then you have to accept that bloggers write differently than beat writers. Nothing is off limits to a blogger, and if you want to be new media friendly, then that is something you have to deal with. Either deny them a credential, or grant them full access — no in between.

Thomas Hauser talked to many people in boxing, wrestling and the entertainment industry and got their opinions of what should happen when Money May takes on Big Show at WrestleMania. Some of the are good, some are stupid and some are from Larry Holmes, who says, “Big Show is serious about this. There isn’t any script. I’m worried for Floyd. Big Show is going to pick him up and throw him around like a rag doll. He might break Floyd’s neck. You know me; if something is fake, I tell it. But this is for real.” Wow.

Mikkel Kessler’s people deny that they are avoiding Edison Miranda, and insist that negotiations are ongoing and that Miranda is in fact a possible upcoming opponent for the Viking Warrior.

Terrelle Pryor and his teammates were involved in a brawl after their high school playoff basketball game this weekend. This kid might be ready to go pro. Sorry Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State, but the NBA may be more likely than D-I football.
