The 134th Kentucky Derby field is set. Big Brown gets post 20 as a 3-1 favorite. Colonel John is second choice at 4-1, followed by Pyro at 6-1.

Meanwhile, in real horse racing (read: harness), Took Hanover is the 5-2 morning line choice in the George Morton Levy final at Yonkers, featuring some of the top pacers in the world of harness racing. Thoroughbreds are for rich folk, harness racing is for broke degenerates. Which one do you think I am?

Ricky Hatton vs. Paulie Malignaggi (if it happens) may be in Las Vegas, rather than at MSG.

Paul Spadafora returned to the ring this week with a win, but may return to jail as he chased his victory with an arrest. Well played, sir.
