If you haven’t seen Chuck Liddell get knocked unconscious by Rashad Evans, enjoy. Nothing against Chuck, but if you don’t feel at least a little bit happy inside just for what this does to that asshole Dana White, then you just don’t know enough about Dana White. Liddell has no business being in the ring with the top fighters in the world, and with White’s top priority in mismanaging the UFC being to suck Liddell’s hog, this was bound to happen. Over/under is six months before White puts Liddell in another fight he doesn’t deserve against a guy he can’t beat. But boxing is dead, because the UFC doesn’t have any of the dirty politics. Whatever. Screw Dana White.
Check out this nickname. He’s the Fred “The Dorf” Dorfmann of professional boxing.
NFL casualties in week one: Tom Brady, Shawn Merriman, Marques Colston, Vince Young, Jeff Garcia, Alex Smith, and many, many more. This is why NFL players earn so much money, and this is why the player’s union will never allow a rookie maximum contract. The lifespan of an NFL player is very short, and the union will fight to the death to allow their players to earn as much as they can on their first (and possibly only) contract.
Vince Young is apparently not cut out to be an NFL quarterback, something I’ve been saying since his last year in college. If you don’t believe me, there’s a large radio audience in Phoenix that has heard me saying it many times. Not to mention the people I had to argue with in Tennessee just weeks after the draft, who didn’t believe me that Big 12 quarterbacks don’t make it in the NFL. Don’t believe me on that one, either? Name one. I thought so.
Having said all that about Vince Young, I hope he gets better. If what they are saying is true, being a bad quarterback is the least of his problems.
