Students registering for BA703 (Strategic Management) at San Diego State University will be privileged to learn from beer commercial star/ESPN personality/failed NFL coach Dennis Green. Green will be teaching the class as part of SDSU’s Sports Business Management program. I’ve covered Dennis Green’s Arizona Cardinals teams, and his disdain for the media five years ago is fascinating to look back on now that he’s a teacher and media personality. I don’t envy the students that are about to get to know him. You’ll miss the days before you new him too well. And let me know when he tells you about the high-performance helicopter.

Kellen Winslow’s “unspecified illness” turned out to be a staph infection. This is the sixth time a Cleveland Brown has had a staph infection in the last few years. Winslow also pointed out that the interest from team management about his well-being was disappointingly low. Terry Pluto from the Cleveland Plain Dealer says that Winslow’s frustrations with the upper management are rooted in money.
