Word around South Bend is that good ol’ Chuck Weis will be back next year, likely leading the Fighting Irish right back not into a bowl game. Perhaps it’s because of the ridiculous buyout that is rumored to be a part of his contract, or perhaps it is because Jimmy likes Coach Weis. The Irish wanted to get rid of Charlie, but Jimmy doesn’t like new coaches. Jimmy only wants to fail for Charlie.
Another college football “coach-in-waiting” has been named. This new trend is going to do wonders for that diversity they were looking for.
