Gatti vs. Ward I, Round 9
This is the single round of boxing that all others are compared to since it happened. It’s the fight that all others are compared to, and it’s the trilogy that all others are compared to. No matter how good a round, fight, or series of fights is, it inevitably is judged against the displays put on by Arturo Gatti and Mickey Ward between May of 2002 and June of 2003.
This may be the single greatest round of boxing in the last 20 years.
