From the “there’s no way this can be true” department, Evander Holyfield has accepted an offer to fight Nikolai Valuev on Dec. 20 in either Switzerland or Germany for Valuev’s WBA title. Holyfield hasn’t fought in a year, since getting decisively beaten by Sultan Ibragimov last October.
